Well we didn't expect to be doing this project right now, but some unforeseen 'new home' stuff came up and it had to be done. We had to tear out the ceilings to get rid of some 'critter homes' and by that time, we just thought we would put the rooms backs together in a way we could actually use. SO, the wall came down and gave way to a new improved mudroom/craft room and I LOVE IT!!! we are going for a 'beachy' feel in the room with the ceiling type and the blue color, plus the white cabinetry makes it feel light and bright and clean, perfect for laundry area! I still need to paint the area where the washer and dryer are and that is going to be a soft yellow..... Here are some pics of it right now

The wall taken down makes the whole space huge! and so open, i just love it! and here you can see the new floor laid by my own hands! Its vinyl planks! durable, strong and washable. Where that shelving unit is, eventually will be a door coming in from the garage and then we can bring groceries in and put them right down on the counter, mike can come in from work dirty and leave the dirt in the MUDroom instead of taking it all through the house, and most importantly a boot bench will be on that wall for us to get ready to go anywhere, LOVE IT!!
A huge chair in a little sitting area, since it is my craft room if i get tired or need to regroup for inspiration or even just sit and read, I have my own spot, Bella doesn't understand the concept of mommy's spot yet! :)So that's whats been going on!
