well this week Mike and I got a double dose of "hey, we are parents" in the form of not 1 but 2 sick little girls.... Lia has been fighting some kind of virus for close to a month, it caused blisters in her mouth and throat, she couldn't even swallow and a rash all over her arms and legs. the meds perscribed caused vomiting and diarhea, the pooping has hasted about 8 days, but we think she may have be allergic to it, so since stopping the meds on monday, i have seen some improvement in the poops and rash and she is getting back to her sassy self.... New favorite word of hers is "no", she says it in a sing songy question like tone and it is hilarious.
Just when i felt like we were out of the woods with poop, Bella is showing some symptoms of what Lia had, mainly some vomiting and diarhea as well. I hope Bella's is just a little stomach bug. Keep praying!
Yesterday I tried Bella out in the tub with Lia for bath time, since she is sitting so well by herself now, we gave it a try, she loved it, so no more little baby tub, hello big girl tub. And with that begins a new era, the almost toddler phase, which is so enjoyable but a little sad to think about, especially if she ends up being our last kid. So bye bye to the boppy, the little vibrating chair and baby tub, and hello to almost crawling, puffs and sitting the high chair like a big girl.... Oh man they really do grow fast!
Happy Thanksgiving!
