BABY CAM!
We really thought we were going to be able to share the gender of our baby today, but alas, Baby Cam is shy like his mama and didn't want to show 'the goods'! So we are scheduled for another ultrasound after Christmas, but we did get some pretty great photos of the baby's foot and face. Looks like he has Mike's toes, which is good news!
The baby is about 5 inches and weighs 5 ounces. The size of a large onion or turnip! The sweat glands are starting to develop and the baby can move the joints. The umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker. And the soft cartiledge is starting to turn into bone.
And so that's the scoop. Next month, we will for sure post new news about the baby's gender. My guess is that it is a girl, and Mike still thinks it is a boy! We will see. So for now we are going to try to get all our Christmas shopping done and think about names for the baby. We are really looking forward to this holiday season where we can celebrate the miracle of life, brought to you by the greatest miracle of them all, Jesus! Happy Birthday Jesus!~
